Peak Partner Mission Q3

Peak Partner Missions-Haiti is blessed to be a partner with Watermark Wesleyan Church of Hamburg. Here is an update as to what God is doing through our mission.

Tragedy and Challenges in Haiti

The world was shocked by the news of the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise on July 7th. Political leadership and stability, which has been the source of criticism and protest, is now an even larger concern of both the Haitian people and the international community. We spoke with Pastor Reginald Constant, head of the New Birth Church in Belot, Haiti about the situation. He said a state of emergency has been declared throughout the country. The streets were deserted, with most people staying in their homes fearing for their safety.  He mentioned that everyday commodities such as propane, gasoline, food, and cooking oil are scarce and more expensive.  Pastor told of long lines to buy gasoline and then only being able to buy one gallon at triple the usual price. Peak Partner Missions sent emergency relief this week to Pastor so that he could purchase a supply of cooking oil and rice to distribute to those in need in the Belot community.

Hike for Haiti Fundraiser Yields Big Results

Peak Partner Missions thanks the 55 families and individuals who joined us for the “Hike for Haiti” fundraiser which continues through July. We also want to thank our event sponsor, Gear for Adventure, for their support of this event.

Participants were given trail information on some of the best hikes/walks in Western New York and encouraged to hit the trails!  Feedback from participants has been very positive, with one hiker exclaiming,” I never knew such a beautiful place existed right in our backyard!”

100% of the proceeds will go to expand the school lunch program at the New Birth School in Haiti from 3 days per week to 5 days per week. Praise God! This has been a goal of Peak Partner Missions for a long time. That means that starting in September, 2021 the 160 or so students that attend the school will be feed a nutritional, filling meal each day they are at school.

It’s not too late to sign up and hike Western New York and support a good cause. Visit for more information.
