A.  Summary Role Definition


  • The primary purpose of the Graphic Designer will be to provide graphic support to Watermark Wesleyan Church and its ministries.  The Graphic Designer works with the communications team to set the direction, look and feel of all internal and external creative communication needs, while articulating and representing Watermark Wesleyan Church’s mission, vision and values with excellence.
  • At least 3 years professional design experience preferred.
  • This role reports to Dan Endress, Communications Director

B.  Detail Job Responsibilities


  1. Provide on brand graphic elements for Watermark Wesleyan Church and its ministries therein, including, but not limited to, sermon series graphics, event graphics, Watermark signage, print material (i.e. welcome cards, invitations, brochures, mailers, etc.) and digital graphics (i.e. website, social media, video, preservice graphics, etc.).
  2. Design sermon series graphics at Watermark Wesleyan Church.  Sermon series graphics include, but are not limited to, digital signage (both in worship centers, online, and around campuses), social media graphics, printed collateral and reading plans.
  3. Create graphical and video assets needed for social media content.
  4. Collaborate in conjunction with Lead Pastor, Communications Director and other designers, for the rebranding process of Watermark Wesleyan Church (new name to be determined).  This will include, but not limited to, logo design, color pallette, typeface, signage, print collateral, digital signage and environmental work.
  5. Aid in the help of stage design ideas, with the help of the Worship & Creative Arts Director and Production Director (i.e. graphical content for worship experiences).
