Equipping Weekend is a time for us to gather across all our campuses to engage our minds, transform our hearts, and empower the Body of Christ. Our prayer is that you will take this opportunity to be better equipped on your journey of discovering wholeness in Jesus, and to help others do the same!

Renewing Your Mind: Feel stuck in anger, sadness, or shame? Behaving in ways you seem unable to change? Living or ministering to someone who is struggling? Learn practical, biblical steps for overcoming negative habits and emotions. Replace destructive thinking with biblical truth. Learn a transformational process guided by the Sprit and the Word to continue discovering wholeness in Jesus.

Parenting is Heart Work: Learn what it means to touch a child’s heart. This practical, biblical resource will change the way parents view their role. You’ll learn how to help children make long-term changes. Many times parents have to change the way they parent in order for children to change the way they live.

Nutrition-Eating for Wholeness: This workshop will address the importance of making healthy food choices as they relate to discovering wholeness in Jesus, including the difference between a diet and a lifestyle change, basic nutrition information, and healthy snack ideas.

Uniquely U: Discovering how God has uniquely created you can be exciting and enlightening because you are created for a purpose! This course is designed to help you better understand yourself while helping to mature you into an effective servant of Christ and plug you into service in the local church.

Navigating Transition: Life is full of transitions, some are expected and welcomed, others happen suddenly and with great resistance. Whatever the case, handled wisely, these transitions are opportunities to enter a new stage of life and continue discovering wholeness in Jesus.

Colossians: This letter from Paul teaches us the different aspects of the deity of Jesus in a very practical way. By understanding the many dimensions of Jesus, we are able to better enter into the journey of discovering wholeness in Him.

Mark of a Disciple- Following Jesus Through the Gospel of Mark: In this study, participants will learn about the unique portrait Mark presents of Jesus as the Suffering Servant, the Messiah, and the Son of God. In particular, there will be an emphasis on learning Jesus’ pattern for making disciples who are discovering wholeness in Him.

Evangelism- Understanding the 5 Thresholds: Evangelism is communicating the good news of Jesus Christ, but it can be intimidating! This training will introduce and explain the five thresholds of a person’s journey from spiritual disinterest to one of following Jesus.  Learning the characteristics of each threshold will help us recognize, celebrate, and move our friends, families, co-workers and neighbors forward in their spiritual journeys of discovering wholeness in Jesus.

Evangelism- The Reason for God: Timothy Keller has compiled a list of the most frequently voiced “doubts” skeptics express as well as the most important reasons for faith. He addresses each doubt and explains each reason. Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity with a deep compassion for those who truly want to know the truth.

Leadership- Building Trust: This course will discuss how to create trusting relationships through honest self-reflection, vulnerability, and trust-building practices which will enable the participant to lead better in all areas of life, including work, family, church, etc.

Leadership- Essential Conversations: Learn how to have effective conversations when it truly counts. This course will teach you how to prepare for tough discussions that will create more positive outcomes in relationships with family, co-workers, neighbors and friends, allowing you to use your influence to its fullest potential.
