Orphan Sunday started in Zambia when a local pastor asked his congregation to give to the orphans & widows in their congregation. Churches around WNY, the Wesleyan denomination, and the Church around the Globe will be coming together and bringing awareness TOGETHER the weekend of November 10. Eric Mills, a pastor at Heritage (Wesleyan) Church, is now the National Pastoral Director of Orphan Sunday & Stand Sunday for CAFO (Christian Alliance for Orphans).

We are bringing awareness to the Church that God calls us to care for the vulnerable & fatherless throughout Scripture. We aren't all called to adopt or foster, but we are all called to do something!
