The Buffalo Peace House is a sanctuary of reconciliation and renewal, providing housing and facilitating access to legal counsel for refugees fleeing conflict around the globe.

With our commitment over the next two years, the Buffalo Peace House will be able to fund a part-time Executive Director to provide guidance and leadership as well as champion fundraising efforts.

Watermark will also continue to send volunteers to build relationships with refugees seeking asylum and welcome them into the community of our congregation. Our ultimate hope is these refugees will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.... Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:35-40
